Youth Training

2 Questions to ask before starting a Youth Training program.

1) What to expect from this program?

One of the most important aspects of starting a training program I believe is to have realistic expectations. Young athletes have complex situations ranging from growth spurts, hormone changes, to even school-age personalities, all of which can affect performance gains and losses. Underdog Performance understands that early results can fluctuate, and thinks in terms of building a solid training FOUNDATION for the long term. Attainable achievements and committing to a program that lets them progress & mold into the athlete they want to be is the main goal.

2) Enough time to commit to training?

I understand that kid’s lives are usually pretty hectic. I’ve lived that life myself as a child, going from two practices and sometimes multiple games in a single day. Parents have to face the task of proper time management for themselves AND their children’s activities. For a youth sports training program to be safe and effective, everyone involved needs to devote quality time to it. Underdog Performance offers multiple ways to make sure this program fits your schedule.
